All of our farmers have regenerative practices that put soil and ecosystem health first.
We don't have a distributor - just farms we've worked with for a decade.
Our animals are never fed antibiotics or hormones. Never confined. And our ruminants never fed grain.
100% Grass-fed beef and lamb and pasture-raised pork. A soil first approach. Small family farms and ranches.
We source directly from farms and ranches that we have worked with for almost a decade, passing fifty cents of every dollar spent at Western Daughters back to a farmer or a rancher.
What if food were a byproduct of conservation?
It all starts with soil. The high desert of the Colorado plains was once home to the perennial grasslands of the prairie where this rich ecosystem absorbed water and harbored biodiversity as vast as the horizon. Our hope is that one farm, one ranch, one steak at a time we can help to restore that system by partnering with regenerative farms and ranches.

The distinction is everything when it comes to diet for livestock. Monogastric animals (like pigs, chickens, and even us) evolved to be omnivorous. Ruminants co-evolved with grass to eat only plant matter.

CHICKEN
Quality poultry is notoriously hard to find in the state of Colorado. Legislative hurdles, start-up costs, and more make this a losing battle. Right now we source from Miller Farms in Indiana. Miller Farms is Amish poultry that tastes fantastic. In our opinion its the best chicken you can get in Denver!
